Owner/Creative Director. We’ve designed over 1500 print and ebook covers for published indie writers.

  • U S Hospitality, Nashville                                                   August 2000 – 2010
    Duties include designing and laying out ads and verbiage for hotel guest directories using PageMaker, Quark, Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop. Scan and edit photos and artwork, and use FileMaker Pro to keep projects up-to-date. Download e-mailed graphic files and resolve font/formatting problems. Consult with advertisers via telephone.
    Use the Xerox Docucolor 40 printer/copier.
    Winner of the Ferris Beuller Award (Day off w/pay) twice for being the most productive designer of the month.

  • Kinko’s Copy Center, Donelson Store, Nashville             June 1998 – April 1999

Duties included using QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, PageMaker, and Freehand on Macs and PC’s to lay out business cards, flyers, banners, posters, newsletters and other art work. Scan and edit photos. Work as part of a team or independently on projects. Consult with clients, help self-serve computer customers, and output work to various printers.

  • Thrifty Car Rental, Nashville                                                           1995 – 2001
    Duties include shuttling cars back and forth to the airport and other locations and supervising and coordinating other drivers. Also computer tech and Excel spreadsheet designer.
